The reason why it appears that no numbers have been written on to the release forms is because in the matter of security I have edited them out so that no one on the internet could use these numbers to harass any of the actors or director.

For legal use of another persons image I require a cast release form, this is signed by the acting party stating that I have permission to use their image.

Shooting Scheduled
To properly manage when I require my actors for filming I, with them, have arranged appropriate times for both me and them to film the required shots. I have then placed the information into the table below for my own organisation and reference.
by creating this schedule I now have an organised way of knowing when and where shoot, but also if necessary when I am able to use my main actor.

Test Shot analysis
To make my film trailer I need to know how to create the
various parts that will make up my trailer, this will include; special effects,
sound effects and the managing of sound tracks. To make sure what I plan to
create is all with in my capabilities I have created a test video of various
shots to test if they function as they should and where any changes should be
made when it comes to creating the film trailer.
Testing
|
Time in test video
|
Did it function properly?
|
What should I change?
|
Extended sound track
|
00:00 - 01:41
|
Yes the track did perform with great precision and all changes
between tracks were subtle and were not too sudden, except one.
|
At 01:02 the track changed to another section and the change was too
sudden as it is supposed to be a subtle change at this point, so I will amend
this error for the final version.
|
Using FX effects
|
00:10 – 00:12
|
Yes the effect did work and was fully functional with no errors.
|
There is nothing to change, however the effect may want to be more
carefully placed on the shot/image used.
|
Syncing sound to FX effect
|
00:22 – 00:26
|
Yes and no, the effects and sound synced on the first effect but not
the second. And the effects showed a border that made them less convincing.
|
I will place sound effects more carefully when using them with
effects and make sure that all FX are used in the correct position and not within
a border.
|
Green screen effect
|
00:28 - 00:34
|
Yes, there were no errors with the green screen effect.
|
There were no errors but the background was slightly too bright compared
to the actor so a slight change in the brightness of the green screen effect
would improve the effect.
|
Voice and sound comparison
|
00:28 – 00:34
|
No, the track was muted during the voice.
|
I will move the voice track further down to its own sound bar in the
editing suit which should make all sounds play without error.
|
By completing this test of certain shots I now know to take
more care when creating these effects/shots and make certain changes that will
allow the trailer to perform correctly and have no issues making it appear more
professional.

Target Audience
My demographics showed that;
- 57% were from Hull
- 71% were aged 16 – 20
- 57% were male
- 33% were of social class A
- 33% were of social class E
My psycho-graphics showed;
- 85% mostly enjoyed the action adventure genre
- 100% enjoyed a fast paced trailer
- 33% preferred a narrative in the trailer
The data I have gathered shows how the target market is of a
younger generation who like quick action filled trailers that detail what is
happening.

Animatic
I have created a rough version of my planned trailer, I have done this so I can see how well my video performs with the music and to see how the shots fare out. One main issue I have had during the creation of this animatic is the music within it, this is because since I am creating a film trailer I had to create my own track to play to my video and this took many hours of; music research, clipping out useful parts and collating the tracks into the perfect track for my video.
as you can see in my animatic I have used many different tracks that make the music of the trailer unique, from examining my animatic I can see that i require a few more shots to make it a more appropriate length for my coursework.
over the course of creating this animatic i have enjoyed the many hours I have spent creating the track I have used in the video and have learnt how difficult it can be and now know how to face these situations in the future.

Music tracks
Since I have decided to create a film trailer whilst majority of my class have chosen a music video I had the disadvantage that I did not know what music tracks to use, with this issue I had to find useful tracks that will work with my trailer and I searched YouTube and the internet and found some interesting tracks.
The music tracks my media teacher, John Hamlin, aided me in acquiring are;
Two Steps From Hell - Heart of Courage (Extended Version)
Two Steps From Hell – Archangel
This image shows I have indeed found some music tracks I will be using in my film trailer as you can see i have noted out certain parts of each track. this is because I have singled out the parts i like the most and that are the type of music i am looking for to create the mood i am aiming to create.
The music tracks my media teacher, John Hamlin, aided me in acquiring are;
Two Steps From Hell - Heart of Courage (Extended Version)
Two Steps From Hell – Archangel
Two Steps From
Hell - Dragon Rider : The Old Republic Cinematic Trailer [HD]
Two Steps
From Hell - To Glory
The Elder Scrolls
V Skyrim - Theme Song
